Strategic interior design for high-level education
From 2016 to 2021, we collaborated with Irish Institute, a prestigious school in Mexico City, on several interior design and renovation projects with one common goal: improve the functionality and aesthetic consistency of the campus while preserving its institutional identity.
The challenge
- The client needed to redesign and renew several spaces:
- Full chapel remodel
- Semi-Olympic pool update
- Computer lab renovations
- Music room flooring upgrade
- Redesign of interior and exterior furniture
Update of the school’s graphic identity aligned with their new corporate image. All needed to be executed while respecting the school’s visual essence and educational focus, using resistant, functional, and visually harmonious materials
The solution
Each space was designed and executed based on three pillars: functionality, durability, and aesthetics. Furniture was custom-made with ergonomics and efficiency in mind. We chose materials resistant to daily use and easy to maintain. Throughout the project, we ensured spaces promoted order, natural light, and visual clarity—crucial elements in educational settings. We also overhauled the school’s graphic identity, applying it to signage, ambiance, and visual style to create a unified look throughout the campus
Results
- A coherent and refreshed institutional image
- Improved functionality and user experience
- High satisfaction among students, staff, and operational teams
Strengthened long-term trust and collaboration. This project marked our entry into construction execution and strengthened our ability to offer turnkey interior solutions.
